Jimmy Pearson Dedicated! This is the main word to describe Jimmy. This quiet, reserved man saves his talking to emcee for the group. We feel that he not only has been blessed with a great voice and tremendous song writing ability, but he has the ability to connect with the people at our concerts. Jimmy started singing full-time when he was 17 years old. He has sang with The Americans and the original Diplomats and now heads the new Diplomats. Jimmy eats, sleeps, and lives Southern Gospel Music. He will travel anywhere to spread God’s message in song. Jimmy is really a true Diplomat.

Rita Pearson She is The First Lady of the Diplomats. What can we say about her? So much fun to be around. She is truly a people person. Rita started singing when she and Jimmy were married. She has been blessed with such an anointed voice. In 1975, she was diagnosed with cancer but, when Rita and Jimmy returned to the doctors to start the treatments, they could not find any cancer. God in his master plan had work for her to do. With her songs and testimony of healing she has truly touched the hearts of many people. Rita and Jimmy make their home in Carrollton, Georgia.

Corey Pearson Some would say that the backbone of a group is it’s music and every band needs a leader. Corey is a superbly talented young man and our band leader. Corey started playing music at the age of 8 years old and started out playing drums for his mom and dad when he was 12. To name the instruments he can play would take too long to list, but he can take over any part that is needed. The biggest thing about Corey is his heart. He is lots of fun to be around and keeps us all in traction from laughing so hard. Corey and his beautiful wife Heather were married on December 12, 1998, and now live in Carrollton, Georgia.

Joseph Brown Joseph Brown has been singing gospel music since he was 17 years old. Bass Is the only part I have ever wanted to sing. My wife, Debbie, and I have 3 beautiful daughters and 6 wonderful grandchildren that call me Pawpaw. I’ve been with the Diplomats for almost 9 years. One thing I love about gospel music is what it does for people. It blesses and uplifts the ones that are down, gives hope to the discouraged and plants spiritual seeds in the lost. I am thankful that God has allowed me to be a part of this ministry and continually see souls saved. I am truly blessed!

Harold Reed When it comes to singing tenor in a quartet Harold is considered one of the best. Growing up in Ohio, Harold was influenced at an early age by great quartets like The Cathedrals and The Kingsmen. Harold has now been singing over 20 years and has been priviledged to sing with The Dixie melody Boys, The Florida boys and lived out his boyhood dream of singing with the legendary Kingsmen Quartet. Harold and his wife Katie reside in Lula, GA where he loves spending his off time. He has 2 boys, Jalen and Hayden.

Zach Flowers Born and raised in Villa Rica, Georgia, Zach began playing drums before he was tall enough to even reach the pedals. He learned drums from his dad Stan at an early age and has always had a great love and appreciation for music. Now at the ripe old age of 22 years old Zach has been a draw for young people as he plays drums and sings a song or two. He has been influenced by many different drummers in Southern Gospel music such as, Ricky Free, Micah Schweinsberg, Nathan Fauscett, Doug Riley, Mike Hopper, and the list goes on and on. He was raised in a loving supportive family of four, Dad and Mom, Sherry and Stan Flowers and sister Leah Flowers Brown.

Jeremy Elliott Jeremy started playing the piano at the age of 4. He grew up in Charleston, SC and at 18 years old moved to northeast Alabama to attend Jacksonville State University. While in college he attended Steve Hurst School of Music and also the Alabama School of Gospel Music. After obtaining a B.A. in Music, Jeremy moved to Braselton, GA with his wife Kimberly. They have been married since October of 2009.

Jordan Hamby Jordan is the newest member of the Diplomats Quartet. He plays guitar in the band and currently lives in Helenwood, TN. He accepted the Lord as my Savior when he was seven years old and is thankful for the many blessings God has given him. Jordan began playing guitar when he was 14 years old and started playing mandolin and banjo a few months later. He is blessed to be a part of a Christian family as well as a musical one. His family‘s group, The Singing Hambys, have been playing and singing gospel music for many years, so Jordan has been traveling since he was six days old. Once he learned to play he was able to join his family on stage. Jordan started filling in with a bluegrass group, Lakeside Quartet, in 2009 on different instruments, and in late 2010 joied as a full-time member. In April 2014 the Lord called me to the Diplomats Quartet. I truly believe this is where the Lord has led me at this point in my life and consider it an honor to be associated with Christian people and great musicians who make up the Diplomats.
